JessicaNelsonAustinConsultant
  • Jessica Nelson is an Austin-based brand strategy consultant propelling her clients’ growth and profitability with a broad scope of services and vast industry connections. Highly skilled in the areas of product, retail, and innovation strategies, she partners with a wide range of fashion
clients, from billion-dollar brands to start-ups and turnarounds, to help them realize their fullest potential.

Upon launching her consultancy in 2022, Jessica began building a diverse client roster that reflects her range of expertise: Texas-based luxury cowboy boot brand Miron Crosby, global lifestyle brand Ubuntu Life, Canadian jewelry company Hillberg & Berk, and fashion and
    accessories giant Kate Spade.

Her company is built on a wealth of experience gained during her 17 years in New York City, where she led global accessories product and buying strategies for some of the most iconic fashion brands, including Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Coach, and Kate Spade. Driven by a true passion for the industry and keen eye for trends, she led categories to triple digit growth, helped brands adapt to market changes, built strong teams, and developed a reputation as a known brand-builder.

In 2018, Jessica moved to her home state of Texas to join Kendra Scott as VP of Merchandising, Planning, and Allocations. In her role, she drove successful product strategies and buying team decisions that directly contributed to the next-level growth of the Texas success story valued at
    more than $1 billion.

Jessica is frequently a guest speaker in the Department of Textiles and Apparel at her alma mater, The University of Texas, and contributed to a course on Accessories Design for Kendra Scott’s Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute in the College of Fine Arts. She also enjoys her role on the board of Habitat for Humanity. In her off-hours, she loves to spend time with her two boys, Gus and Wells, and their beloved griffon (and office mascot), Mabel. When she’s not on the soccer field sideline, you’ll likely find her on a yoga mat, hiking trails, or antique shopping near and far.

  • Alexandra Rocci is a multidisciplinary creative with a background spanning fashion, lifestyle, and food.

She brings proven experience in luxury fashion to a variety of roles at Jessica Nelson Consulting, including product strategy, analysis, pricing, trend work, and forecasting.

Alex started her career in New York City where she managed model casting for Ulla Johnson, handbag and SLG production and development for Proenza Schouler, and production for Marc Jacobs runway and core divisions.

While in NYC, Alex and her partner, Kylen McCarthy, founded Nerò Culinary Concepts, an in-home, elevated dining experience with the idea that celebration should be a textured experience that embraces food, lifestyle, and interaction.

She also volunteered at FabScrap, a nonprofit working to reduce textile waste within the fashion industry. She has been featured in Architectural Digest for her soft-goods concept company, Broderie Studio. Broderie takes reclaimed luxury fashion industry textiles and turns them into home accents.

Alex graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion Business Management. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Strategy and Innovation from Salve Regina University. In 2021, opportunity led her to Austin, Texas. Since moving to Austin, she has found her passion for gardening, cowboy boots, and backyard bonfires.
